Often more so. The notices tell you which buyers are going to market and when, which is what a distributor's forecast usually lacks. The company events tell you when a distributor's own position is changing.
Can it warn me about a customer before they stop paying?
It reads the record rather than your ledger, so it sees charges registered, accounts filed late, officer changes and insolvency notices. That is earlier than an invoice going unpaid, and it is the Exposure stream, in the same price.
What about export markets?
TED covers above-threshold contracts across the EU-27 plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, and SAM.gov covers US federal. Below-threshold contracts in those countries are published nationally and are not in TED, so that gap is real.
Do you read industry news?
No. Every match traces to an official record with the source attached. News is somebody's account of a thing; a filing is the thing.
